Fall Leadership Workshop Takeaways

The 2022 Fall Leadership Workshop (Sept. 30 - Oct. 2) has ended.

Attendees from 30 states came to the DC area for training and to network in this 3 day workshop from experts in AAFCS governance, advocacy, future proofing Affiliates, and leadership training. Exhibitors included affiliates, universities, AAFCS Communities and other organizations. All attendees can access the resources will be available in the workshop library (MyAAFCS) through December 31.

INTRODUCING ELEVATE FCS

The campaign encourages ALL FCS professionals, students, affiliates, communities, programs, related organizations, and supporters to ELEVATE Family and Consumer Sciences in December as we celebrate the value and impact of the FCS profession and commemorate the birthday of our founder, Ellen Swallow Richards.

AAFCS invites and encourages ALL to Celebrate Five Days of FCS in the month of December with FCS Fridays! Join AAFCS as we CELEBRATE and ELEVATE FCS all month long!

An easy-to-use toolkit provides resources to JUMPSTART your planning! The ELEVATE FCS Toolkit includes logos, proclamations, zoom backgrounds, templates and printables, and social media resources. Take a look at the tools released today and watch for releases of new items each month leading up to December!
